Delete your Eventus account
You can delete your Eventus account and its data at any time. Deleting is permanent and happens right away. You can sign up again later with the same email or phone number, but it will be a brand-new account.
In the app
- Open Eventus and go to your Profile.
- Tap Settings in the top right.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of the list.
- Tell us why you’re leaving, then tap Delete Account.
Without the app
Email operations@eventusapp.com with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the email address on your account, or include the phone number or username you signed up with, so we can find it.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, photos and interests
- Followers, people you follow, groups and blocks
- Comments and likes
- RSVPs, saved events, guest lists and waitlists
- Hangouts and happy hours you created
- Notifications and your registered devices
Your name, email, phone number and username are removed from your account.
What we keep
- Records of tickets, payments and payouts, kept for accounting, tax and legal reasons
- Events you hosted, hidden from Eventus but kept internally because guests hold tickets to them
- Security logs and reports other people made about your account
These are no longer linked to your name, email or phone number. Messages you sent in chats may still appear in the other person’s conversation.
